Before their game against Team USA at the FIBA World Cup, the New Zealand basketball team put forward their best pregame intimidation by doing a haka dance on the court as the American team looked on in what seemed to be a mix of confusion and amusement.
Derrick Rose, however, was not impressed.
Despite the pregame ritual, the U.S. leapt out to an early lead, thanks in part to plays like this alley-oop from Kyrie Irving to Anthony Davis and beat New Zealand 98-71:
